Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-09
Wavvy (“we”, “us”) lets users generate AI music from text prompts, genres, and moods. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices users have regarding their data.
1. Accounts and profile data
Wavvy starts with an anonymous account by default so users can use the app without providing an email address.
- Anonymous account: we create an internal user ID and authentication record for app access.
- Account records: we store account status, credit balance, subscription status, purchase-related identifiers, and timestamps.
- Future sign-in options: if we add optional email or social login, we will collect the information needed to provide that login method.
2. Prompts, songs, and generated audio
To provide the music generation service, we collect and store the content and metadata needed to create and manage tracks.
- Prompts: the text users type to describe a song or idea.
- Generation settings: selected genre, mood, model settings, job status, timestamps, and credit usage.
- Generated tracks: generated audio files, titles, durations, track metadata, and library records.
- Cloud storage and delivery: generated outputs may be stored in cloud storage so users can play, download, and manage their tracks.
3. How we use data
- Authenticate users and keep their library, credits, and subscription status available.
- Process generation requests and return requested music outputs.
- Track credits, subscriptions, purchase restoration, refunds, and billing status.
- Maintain app security, prevent abuse, investigate disputes, and improve reliability.
- Provide customer support and respond to access, correction, or deletion requests.
4. Service providers and sharing
We use service providers that process data on our behalf to operate the app.
- Supabase: authentication, database, storage, and backend functions.
- RevenueCat: subscription status, purchase restoration, entitlements, and billing event webhooks.
- Apple App Store: in-app purchases and subscription billing. We do not receive full payment card details.
- Google AI services: prompts and generation settings are sent through our backend to create requested music outputs.
We may also disclose limited information where needed to comply with law, enforce our terms, prevent fraud or abuse, protect users, or resolve payment disputes.
5. Retention
We keep account, track, generation, credit, and purchase-related records for as long as needed to operate the service, unless the user deletes content or requests deletion of the account. Retention periods can vary depending on backups, storage propagation, billing requirements, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal compliance.
6. Deleting tracks, accounts, and data
Users can request deletion of their account and associated data in the app from Settings. This deletes the anonymous authentication record, internal user ID, track library entries, prompts, generation records, credit records, and stored generated audio associated with that account from active systems.
Users can also request deletion by contacting support@opallabsdev.com.
- No anonymous account recovery: because the default account is anonymous, we may not be able to verify ownership or restore access after deletion is completed.
- Subscriptions: deleting a Wavvy account does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription. Users must cancel through their App Store account settings.
- Temporary remnants: backup copies, logs, caches, and storage propagation artifacts may remain temporarily until overwritten or automatically purged.
- Limited retained records: minimal billing, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, tax, or legal records may be retained where reasonably necessary.
7. User rights and requests
Where applicable under local law, users may request access to, correction of, portability of, objection to, or deletion of their personal data. We may need to verify identity before acting on a request.
8. Children
Wavvy is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law in the user's jurisdiction.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
