Privacy Policy

MotusAI ("we", "us") lets users generate AI images and videos from text prompts. This
policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices users
have regarding their data.
1. Accounts and profile data
Users can use MotusAI either as a guest with an anonymous account or by creating an account with email.
- Anonymous accounts: users can use the app without providing an email address.
- Email accounts: if a user chooses to create an email account, we collect and store the
email address for login, account access, account recovery, and account management.
- Internal identifiers: whether a user is anonymous or email-based, we create and store
an internal user ID and account profile.
- Profile/account records: we store data such as user ID, authentication method, account
status, credit balance, subscription status, and account timestamps.
2. Prompts, projects, and generated media
To provide the service, we collect and store the content and metadata needed to create and manage projects.
- Prompts: we collect the prompts users type in to generate AI images or videos.
- Generation records: we store records such as prompt text, selected model, media type,
aspect ratio, job status, timestamps, and credit usage.
- Project library: we store generated outputs in the user's project library, including
images, videos, thumbnails, file paths, media URLs, model used, and related metadata.
- Cloud storage and delivery: generated outputs may be stored in cloud storage and made
available through shareable media URLs.
- Shared links: if a user shares an output link, anyone with that link may be able to
access the content.
3. How we use data
- Provide authentication, account access, project history, and account recovery.
- Process generation requests and return requested images or videos.
- Track credits, subscription entitlements, purchase restoration, and billing status.
- Maintain app security, prevent abuse, investigate disputes, and improve reliability.
- Provide customer support and respond to deletion or access requests.
4. Service providers and sharing
We use service providers that process data on our behalf to operate the app.
- Firebase: we use Firebase for authentication, database and storage, and backend
functions.
- RevenueCat: we use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions, entitlements, purchase
restoration, and billing status.
- App Store billing: subscription purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google
Play, not directly by the app. We do not receive full payment card details.
- AI generation providers: we send prompts and generation settings to third-party AI
generation providers through our backend in order to create requested outputs.
We may also disclose limited information where needed to comply with law, enforce our terms, prevent fraud
or abuse, protect users, or resolve payment disputes.
5. Retention
We keep account, project, and generation data for as long as needed to operate the service, unless the user
deletes content or requests deletion of the account. Retention periods can vary depending on system backups,
storage propagation, billing requirements, fraud prevention needs, dispute handling, or legal compliance.
6. Deleting assets, accounts, and data
Users can delete individual generated assets from the app. Deleting an asset removes it from the user's
library and schedules deletion of the related stored media and metadata from our active systems, although
cached copies, backups, or previously shared links may remain temporarily unavailable to us until those
systems expire or refresh.
Users can also request deletion of their account or data by contacting
support@opallabsdev.com.
7. What happens if an anonymous account is deleted
- Deleted from active systems: the anonymous authentication record, internal user ID and
profile, project library entries, prompts, generation records, credit balance, and stored generated
media associated with that anonymous account are deleted from our active systems.
- No account recovery: because the account is anonymous, we may not be able to verify
ownership or restore access after deletion is completed.
- Temporary remnants: backup copies, logs, caches, and storage propagation artifacts may
remain temporarily until overwritten or automatically purged.
- Limited retained records: minimal internal records may be retained where reasonably
necessary for fraud prevention, abuse prevention, security investigations, dispute handling, or legal
compliance.
8. What happens if an email account is deleted
- Deleted from active systems: the Firebase/Auth login credentials, email address,
internal profile, project library entries, prompts, generation records, stored generated media, and
related metadata associated with that account are deleted from our active systems.
- Billing metadata: billing and entitlement metadata that must be retained for
subscription reconciliation, fraud prevention, chargebacks, disputes, accounting, tax, or legal
compliance may be retained for a limited period even after account deletion.
- Store subscriptions: deleting the account does not automatically cancel an active Apple
App Store or Google Play subscription. Users must manage cancellation through their store account.
- Temporary remnants: backup copies, logs, caches, and storage propagation artifacts may
remain temporarily until overwritten or automatically purged.
9. User rights and requests
Where applicable under local law, users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal
data. We may need to verify identity before acting on a request, especially for email-based accounts.
10. Children
MotusAI is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law in the user's
jurisdiction.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date
above.
